Cheeyappara waterfalls located between Neriamangalam and Adimali on the Kochi-Madurai Highway is one of the best trekking locations in Idukki district. The waterfall, set amidst a dense growth of trees, cascades down is seven tiers, which is a real feast for the eyes.

playgrounds and courts, Chithirapuram still exudes

Hydel Power Project, this hill town is also famous
for its picturesque tea plantations.
Ponmudi Dam is a small dam built across the
Panniar river in Idukki, the Ponmudi dam is a
popular attraction of the district. The alluring
views of the dam, the reservoir, and the dense
green surroundings will make your visit unforgettable. The tea
garden in the vicinity is also a trekker’s retreat. To get the best
views from the location one should plan their visit around monsoon
or post-monsoon.
The Chokramudi Peak actually lies in the Eravikulam National
Park so the Forest Department will have some formalities to be
fulfilled before starting the trek. Since it is located in a national
park, the hill is filled with lush evergreen Shola forest, and the
park is home to one of the largest number of animals such as
Nilgiri Tahrs, Gaurs and Asian Elephants.
Karyad is one of the best honeymoon places in
